Redbud Records!

Zachary came home from school today with a really cool book from the book fair titled 2008 World Records. He's so creative that he has a new plan for him and all his friends to participate in together. Here is his plan:

By Zachary: I think this is such a neat book that I'm going to make a new one named after me and my friends--Redbud Records 2008! In the book will be who can read 200 minutes in 2 days, the biggest leaf pile we can make, the fastest scooters, the hardest throwing baseball pitcher, the most smelliest potion we ever made and many many more fun things.

Funny story - It's true

So riding home from soccer practice, I heard the greatest story!
The kids had collected rolly-polely bugs (or pillbugs). Zachary was so excited about the bugs crawling all around in the container and he exclaimed, "They are mating, they are mating! I'm going to have babies. They are mating! I know that ACT!" I was just pulling up to a light. I stopped the car and calmly turned my head in his direction and said "What act are you talking about Zachary?". He then says so proudly, "they are tickling each others faces. I'm so excited I'm going to have babies!"
Phew! What a story!

Hi Friends & Family,
I have several friends who do blogs, and have been told many times that I should have one! I think it will be a fun way to track stories and good times - and I plan to get the kids involved telling stories! So check back here every now and then! Enjoy!
